Hello, welcome to my slice of internet pie. I’m Mindy, and this is A Weekly Look.

When I had an opportunity to create a blog for my Foundations of Digital Communications Strategy & Social Media class, I tossed around a few different ideas, but I wasn’t really excited for any of them. Then I thought ‘I follow so many fashion bloggers on Instagram, and they are a big inspiration for me when buying clothes and putting together outfits, why not start a blog about my different outfits of the day?’ (Or OOTD, as they say)

On this blog I share one of my outfits of the day from that week (hence my blog name, A Weekly Look), as well as recent clothing purchases, reviews of clothes and accessories, and anything else related to clothing and accessories that I think would be of interest to readers.

My overall hope for this blog (ok, aside from getting a good grade) is that I will be encouraged and inspired when putting together my outfits, knowing that I will be sharing them with others. While it is very, very easy to throw on some black pants and a shirt and run off to work, I want to be more creative and intentional when it comes to what I wear. For readers, I hope I give you some outfit inspiration or at least some helpful information about a piece of clothing I have purchased.
